So, this week, I feel like I have officially declared war.......on the bugs outside of my house that is. Earlier this week I sprayed the outside of the house with our Home Defense spray that I planned on using once a year, and then today, I pulled all the weeds and overgrowth in the flowerbed in front of the house. Little did I realize that there's a HUGE amount of pincher bugs in that flower bed. Now, being a person who does not garden or even handle bugs for that matter, I did the logical thing. Freak out, run into the house, and then call Kristy to see if the disgusting creatures are needed to have flowers. After a very long conversation, I then proceeded to Walmart to buy some stuff that will kill them. (That's my big job tomorrow.) I then figured I'd be fine for tonight. So, what next? Well, like in any big battle, you take a shot, and then they take a shot. And, their shot was not a fun one! The horrible things have come in one or two at a time under the door! (Now, I know that the total has been like 4, and I've killed about 6 outside tonight, but that is beside the point!) So, being the determined person I am, I then decided it was time for some serious action...I made a 10:30 run to the Medford Walmart for one of those plug in bug repellent things! THAT'S RIGHT! I have now become psychotic enough with this to go buy one of those things late at night.
Of course, I do have to take this moment to give props to my wonderful husband who was nice enough to tell me to drive safe and that he loved me...instead of calling me a psycho, like I know he wanted to. The only thing he did say, was there are alot of them...but my response to that is Sure...but have you seen me...I'm alot bigger than them.
So, while a big part of me says I'm going to win this, we'll see. Wish me luck, because it's going to be me or them!
